Your event won’t make it on to the calendar if it is:

  • A private event
  • A regular meeting or an AGM
  • A regular sporting fixture
  • A regular business promotion
  • A regular training session or educational class
  • An event that is inappropriate or illegal

Based on the above criteria we reserve the right to decline an event. We will contact you if your event is not the right fit for the Events Kaikōura website.

We will promote your event to a Featured Event if:

  • Our region’s identity is highlighted and strengthened
  • Visitors from outside Kaikōura are expected
  • Large numbers of attendees are expected
